I agree but at the same time I disagree on the passage that I read from the book Remix : reading + composing culture. I don't know about other schools but in my highschool we didn't really have cliques. Like there was the jocks and the I guess you could say "nerds" but usually you we're part of more then one group or the same group. For example my valedictorian played volleyball but also had the highest gpa in the class and is now enrolled in Brown University! I feel like movies and other media made me think high school would be different or even cooler then it actually was. ( Mean Girls) I know when Emily White talks about cliques she is talking about her experience. But my view on cliques and her views are very different. Does anyone have the same view on cliques as I do ?
